Public Safety Meeting
There will be another public safety committee meeting on Tuesday the 28th @ 5:00pm located @ 1202 West Graham Road, Richmond, VA. Please come out and show we are still behind Capt. Andes!!!
Wish you guys the best. I would be there but I will out of town consulting with a fire department with great leadership and on the cutting edge of union/management cooperation. Remember to take the high road. Don't lower yourselves to others level.
The truth hurts huh.... What is in it for him? He is trying so hard to keep wasting tax money and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. It may be because after 13 years of which he has been chief 8, there was no effort put into planning to replace this fleet. He sat there and explained that he was waiting on a study after he had already began replacing trucks. He blames this on the aging fleet but leaves out one detail. Planning..... He does none. Instead of doing a study or deciding what he was gonna do a few years ago we are again behind the 8 ball. Good part is the council members saw it personally yesterday. Funny how even they could not understand the dual fleet. He will defend it till the end though.
